Bishkek hosted a meeting of veterans of the energy sector of Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan

In September 2021, a meeting of energy veterans of Russia, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan took place in Bishkek.

The delegation from Russia was headed by the chairman of the Council of Veterans of Energy of Russia Vladimir Andreevich Peshkun, the delegation of Kazakhstan - the chairman of the Council of Veterans of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurpeisov Sovetkhan Seytkalievich and Kyrgyzstan - Chairman of the Council of Veterans of Energy of Kyrgyzstan Imanaliev Bolotbek Imanalievich. Honored veterans of the energy sector of Kyrgyzstan took part in the event.

During the meeting, an exchange of experience took place between veterans of the energy sector of Russia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. The parties signed an agreement “On cooperation between the Council of War and Labor Veterans of Russian Power Engineers and the Council of Energy Veterans of the Kyrgyz Republic” in order to exchange experience with veterans of power industry organizations, organize and conduct joint events. Ilyas Davydov, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Veterans of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic, presented  information on the state of work of the Kyrgyz energy system in the autumn-winter period of this year.

V.A.Peshkun, Chairman of the Council of War and Labor Veterans of Power Engineers of Russia awarded the honored veterans of the energy sector of Kyrgyzstan with the medals "Veteran of Energy". In turn, the Chairman of the Council of Veterans of Energy of Kyrgyzstan B.I. Imanaliev awarded representatives of the Council of War and Labor Veterans of Power Engineers of Russia and Kazakhstan with a commemorative medal timed to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the adoption of the national GOELRO plan, “100 years - GOELRO”.

Delegations of the Council of Energy Veterans visited energy facilities and met with heads and teams of energy companies of the Kyrgyz Republic.
