Electricity exports from the Russian Federation in 2020 fell by 39.6%, revenues - by 46.4%, - Federal Customs Service
The volume of electricity exports from Russia at the end of 2020 decreased by 39.6% compared to the previous year and amounted to 12,116.2 million kWh, the TASS telegraph agency reports, citing materials from the Federal Customs Service (FCS) of Russia.
Export revenues for the reporting period decreased in annual terms by 46.4% to $ 488.7 million.
At the same time, in December 2020, electricity exports increased by 54.1% compared to November, to 1.45 billion kWh. Export revenues for the reporting month amounted to $ 62 million, which is 40.6% more than in November.
