The Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation summed up the monthly results of monitoring the readiness of electric power engineering entities for the heating season 2019-2020 years

In accordance with the Rules for Assessing the Readiness of electric power engineering entities to Work in the Heating Season, approved by Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 543 dated May 10, 2017, the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation assesses the operational readiness in the heating season of electric power engineering entities that own on the basis of ownership or other legal basis transmission facilities of the highest class of rated voltage 110 kV and above and (or) electric power generation facility with a total installed capacity of 25 MW and more, including facilities for the production of electricity operating in the mode of combined generation of electrical and thermal energy, as well as electric power engineering entities, which are the subjects of operational dispatch control in the electric power industry (hereinafter - electric power engineering entities).

The Department of Operational Control in the Fuel and Energy Complex of the Ministry of Energy of Russia, in accordance with the Methodology for assessing the operational readiness of electric power industry entities during the heating season, approved by order of the Ministry of Energy of Russia dated December 27, 2017 No. 1233 (hereinafter referred to as the Methodology), continuously monitors the fulfillment of operational readiness conditions by electric power industry entities throughout the year during the heating season. The assessment of the operational readiness of electric power industry entities during the heating season as of 25.07.2020 was carried out taking into account the changes introduced to the Methodology by order of the Ministry of Energy of Russia dated 12.02.2020 No. 87.

The assessment results are published on the official website of the Russian Ministry of Energy.

Monthly operational readiness monitoring is aimed at preventing power supply disruptions to consumers during the period of complex technological modes and low temperatures.
