The Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan has developed the Energy Balance of the Republic of Kazakhstan until 2035

In accordance with the energy balance, electricity consumption in the country will increase to 152.9 billion kWh by 2035, the average annual growth in electricity consumption in the period 2021-2035 will increase by 2.7%.

To cover the needs of the economy and the population, it will be necessary to commission 17.5 GW of new generation by 2035.
