Tsivilov Sergey Yevgenyevich
He was elected President of the CIS Electric Council by a decision of the 64th meeting of the CIS Electric Council of June 06, 2024.
On May 14, 2024, by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation, Sergei Tsivilev was appointed Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation.
Earlier, Sergei Tsivilev served as the governor of the Kemerovo region - Kuzbass - one of the most important coal regions of Russia. In addition, he headed the Commission of the State Council of Russia in the direction of "Energy".
Sergei Tsivilev was born on September 21, 1961 in the city of Zhdanovo, Donetsk region.
In 1983, he graduated with honors from the Black Sea Higher Naval School. P. S. Nakhimov in Sevastopol with a degree in the Armament of the ships. In 1978-1994 He served in the Navy of the USSR and Russia.
In 1999, he graduated from the St. Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance with a degree in Finance and Credit, after which he worked in various companies. Over the years, he served on the Northern Sea Route.
