On November 10, 2020, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the appointment of the ex-head of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, Alexander Novak, as Deputy Prime Minister in the Government of Russia and on the appointment of the ex-head of RusHydro, Nikolai Shulginov, to the post of Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation.
