A discussion was held in Moscow on the draft Plan of Priority Actions for 2023-2030 on the implementation of the Concept of Cooperation between the CIS States in the field of the use of renewable energy sources

On October 25, 2022, a meeting of the expert group of the CIS member states was held at the Branch of the CIS Executive Committee to discuss the draft Plan of Priority Actions for 2023–2030 for the implementation of the CIS Member States Cooperation Concept  in the field of renewable energy sources use, approved by the Decision of the Council of CIS Heads of Government No. November 20, 2013

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, the National Research University "Higher School of Economics", the Executive Committee of the CIS Electric Power Council, the National Research University "Moscow Energy Institute", the Eurasian Economic Commission , as well as the Executive Committee of the CIS.

Based on the results of the discussion, the experts developed an agreed version of the draft Plan. The participants of the meeting agreed on the final protocol.

The development of this draft Plan will allow for the interaction of the CIS member states on a multilateral basis, providing for the coordination of renewable energy sources use development while maintaining a rational approach to planning the energy balance, as well as the development of high-tech industries and a positive impact on the environment.
