Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin met with the head of Rosseti PJSC Andrey Ryumin.

“You are the head of the largest power grid company in Russia. Thanks to its infrastructure, it connects almost all of our country, helps to provide reliable, high-quality, affordable energy supply to the regions,” the Prime Minister said and added that last year the electricity industry showed growth, despite external challenges.

Andrey Ryumin spoke about the results of the company's work for the year.

About 80% of electricity generated in Russia is transmitted through the infrastructure of PJSC Rosseti.

At the beginning of 2023, the reorganization was completed, as a result of which the two largest subordinate companies were merged. Thanks to this, a single responsibility center was formed in the power grid complex, standards were unified, which made it possible to reduce operating expenses by almost 5 billion rubles.

Despite the sanctions, the supply of electricity in 2022 increased and amounted to 790 billion kWh.

Last year, the accident rate on the main network decreased by 4% compared to 2021.

77.5 billion rubles were allocated in 2022 to the infrastructure repair program.

The company has a fully formed emergency reserve, more than 10 thousand teams have been prepared for work.

At the end of 2022, the company's revenue grew by 4% compared to the business plan and by 6.5% compared to 2021.
