An interdepartmental group has been established in Turkmenistan to work out a National Strategy of Renewable Energy Development
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has established an Interdepartmental Working Group to develop a National Strategy of Renewable Energy Development and approved its membership. The relevant decree “in order to develop the National Strategy of Renewable Energy Development and Ensure Energy Stability in the Country on a systematic basis,” the head of state signed today at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Turkmen television’s Watan news program reported.
In accordance with the document, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is authorized in line with established procedures to attract international organizations and other international structures for working out the draft National Strategy of Renewable Energy Development in Turkmenistan.
