Energy companies of the Russian Federation spent 300 billion on preparations for winter

Expenses of Russian energy companies to prepare for winter amounted to 300 billion rubles, said the head of the Ministry of Energy Nikolai Shulginov during a meeting of the President of the Russian Federation with members of the government. "The preparation of energy facilities was carried out in a regular mode, the expenses of the companies on preparations for the winter amounted to 300 billion rubles",  the minister said. "According to the results of the work carried out jointly with the Ministry of Construction and Rostekhnadzor, 96% of energy facilities confirmed their readiness to operate during the heating season in full or with a deviation, and received readiness certificates", he added.
