Energy Day will take place on January 27 as part of the Russia exhibition at Exhibition of Economic Achievements (VDNkH)

At the international exhibition and forum "Russia" on January 27, Energy Day will be held as part of the industry days of the Russian economy. An extensive business, as well as entertainment and sports program is planned, reports the Russian government and the Roscongress Foundation.

The central event of the business program will be the plenary session “Fuel and Energy Complex of Russia: New Opportunities for Development”, where they will discuss the priorities for the development of the country’s fuel and energy complex, the achievements of recent years and development opportunities in each sector of the fuel and energy complex.

There will also be expert panels dedicated to the electric power industry as a driver of economic growth and new strategies for the oil and gas complex. The industry day exposition will be dedicated to the achievements of the energy industry, prospects for its development, transformation under the influence of modern trends and Russian energy companies.

“In recent years, energy production and consumption have been growing steadily, which indicates economic development, increased industrial activity and consumer demand. Such results are possible thanks to the work of highly qualified specialists, entire dynasties of professionals who will also attend Energy Day events,” noted Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, whose words are quoted in the message.

As part of Energy Day, a ceremonial launch of the modernized power units of the Gusinoozerskaya, Perm and Kostroma State District Power Plants will also take place.

For children and teenagers, the industry pavilions of the companies will host master classes and thematic classes on car assembly, dam construction, water purification, painting, lectures and quests dedicated to the professions and competencies of the future, and sports activities.

Visitors will be able to try themselves in the role of a specialist shipbuilder, electric welder and other jobs. The new Atom pavilion will host custom excursions dedicated to the history of the nuclear era, where you can learn about the use of atomic energy for peaceful and defense purposes, the current state of the nuclear industry and its prospects.

The event will feature concerts by famous performers. Guests will enjoy an extensive sports program: performances and master classes from famous figure skaters at the exhibition skating rink.
