Export of electricity from Russia is expected at the level of 10.2 billion kWh

“According to the results of the first half of the year, export of electricity from Russia is expected at the level of 10.2 billion kWh. In the first half of 2020, the indicator was at the level of 5.2 billion kWh, in the first half of 2019 - 9.3 billion kWh", the ministry said.

According to the customs statistics of previous years, the indicator for the first half of 2021 may become a record compared to the values ​​of the same periods starting from 2013, when the export volume amounted to 10.4 billion kWh.

As noted in the Ministry of Energy, in the first half of 2021, there is an increase in exports to record values ​​or those close to them over the past decade in the direction of the Baltic countries (more than doubled compared to 2020, up to 3 billion kWh) and Finland (an increase of more than threefold compared to 2020, to 3.8-3.9 billion kWh).
