From December 6 to December 10, 2021, an open All-Russian professional skills competition "The Best Occupational Safety Specialist of 2021" was held in Moscow. The Competition was organized by the Corporate Power University with the support of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation and the Executive Committee of the CIS Electric Power Council.

Energy personnel professional skills Competitions have traditionally become a school of excellence that sets the standards of professionalism, a platform for communication between representatives of energy companies, and a review of the level of professional training systems for their personnel. They are carried out during the period of checks of readiness for the heating season, and include an assessment of the level of knowledge and skills of participants in operating equipment in normal and in accidental modes.

In 2021, the Competition was distinguished by a high level of professionalism of the participants and the content of the competitions at the stages. Leading experts of the industry, Rostechnadzor from the Russian Federation and representatives of energy companies from the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Moldova, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan took part in the opening ceremony of the Competition in full-time and remote format. The Competition was attended by representatives of more than forty energy companies and organizations of the electric power industry, including representatives of the Kyrgyz Republic. Representatives of energy companies of the Republic of Azerbaijan were present as observers. The competition was held in full-time and remote formats. More than three thousand power engineers watched the results of the Competition on the Internet.

In the remote participation  format, the rating positions were  distributed as follows:

First position: Elena Viktorovna Lemeshko, branch of Rosseti FGC UES - West Siberian PMES.

Second position: Svetlana Sergeevna Yurtaeva, Zatonskaya CHPP, Bashkir Generating Company LLC.

Third position: Alexander N. Shandra, Branch of FGC UES PJSC - Kuzbass PMES.

In the face-to-face participation format, the positions were distributed as follows:

First position: Fomina Yana Aleksandrovna, Baikal Energy Company LLC.

Second position: Ivan Nikolaevich Furmanov, Vladimirsky branch of T Plus PJSC,

Third position: Tatyana Nikolaevna Ilchenko, Yekaterinburg Heating Network Company JSC.

Within the framework of the Competition, a master class was held on the topic "Managing Anthropogenic Risks in the Electric Power Industry" and a film was shown dedicated to the memory of the first Minister of Energy of Russia A.F. Dyakov.

The participants noted the high organization of the Contest.
