From September 1 to September 15, the National qualifying stages will be held in the CIS member states for the first time as part of the League of Young Professionals "CASE-IN"
On July 21, a remote meeting was held with the participation of representatives of interested industry organizations of the CIS member states on the preparation and holding of the National qualifying stages of the League of Young Professionals of the CASE-IN International Engineering Championship, which will be held for the first time in 2023 with the support of the relevant ministries of our countries.
As part of the event, project coordinators from organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of the organizers and partners of the Championship of the Reliable Change Foundation, the Executive Committee of the CIS Electric Power Council, the Rossotrudnichestvo Foundation met, discussed the procedure for preparing and holding the Championship, the necessary next steps.
The competition will be held in two stages.
As part of the first stage, from September 01 to September 15, 2023, all teams will defend in a remote format before experts from their countries the optimal solution of the engineering competition task on the topic: "Low-carbon development based on environmentally neutral technologies" in relation to the power systems of their countries, taking into account technological, economic and other advantages of parallel operation of the power systems of the CIS member states.
The face-to-face final will take place on October 13, 2023 in Moscow at the site of the Youth Day of the International Forum "Russian Energy Week - 2023". It will be attended by the leading teams of the national qualifying stages, who will come to Moscow and also take part in other events from October 10 to 14, 2023 with the support of the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo) as part of the New Generation program.
The entry of the CASE-IN League of Young Professionals to the interstate level will expand international cooperation in promoting engineering and technical professions, engineering education, identifying and developing promising technologies, as well as strengthening horizontal ties and professional awareness of young specialists from the CIS member states.
The CASE-IN International Engineering Championship has been held since 2013 with the support of industry companies and specialized educational institutions of the CIS member states. During this period, the event was attended by more than 20,000 students, young professionals and schoolchildren, 4,200 experts - representatives of 170 partner companies, 60 specialized educational institutions.
The initiators and co-organizers of the competitions are the Executive Committee of the CIS Electric Power Council and the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation. The championship is organized by the Reliable Change Foundation, the Youth Forum of Mining Leaders Non-Profit Partnership and AstraLogika LLC, the final will be held with the support of the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo) within the framework of the New Generation program.
