Import of solar panels to Uzbekistan increased 20 times

More than 3.85 million solar panels were imported into Uzbekistan from January to October, which is 20 times more than the amount imported during the same period last year. This was reported by the press service of the Customs Committee.

Their total cost was more than 427.1 thousand dollars. The figure has increased 20 times compared to the same period last year, when only 185 thousand solar panels were brought.

The bulk of imports came from China - 3.79 million units. Also, a significant part was supplied by Hong Kong - 15.5 thousand units and the UAE - 15.1 thousand, as well as Turkey and South Korea - 7.5 thousand and 6.8 thousand.
