In Russia, the results of the annual monitoring of electric power facilities techno - economic condition indicators have been summed up
The Department of Operative Control in the Fuel and Energy Complex of the Russian Ministry of Energy calculated indicators of electric power facilities technical and economic state based on the results of activities in 2019. Evaluation aims to identify best practices in the field of increasing efficiency of power facilities.
Based on the results of the analysis, an improvement in technical state of generating facilities main equipment was revealed: in 2017. The level of physical wear of the main equipment corresponded to “satisfactory” technical state, and in 2018 and 2019, the overall level of wear corresponded to “good” technical state.
A similar situation is observed for the main equipment and power lines. According to the results of 2019, in general, the equipment corresponds to “very good” technical state, whereas in 2017 it corresponded to “good” technical state.
In 2019, the loss reduction measures effectiveness in electric networks improved (from 56% to 75% of measures with high efficiency). In 2018, the effectiveness of the measures taken and the associated costs for maintaining the technical state of the generation facilities (59% of the measures with high efficiency) remained unchanged.
The calculation of the indicators of electric power facilities technical and economic state was carried out by the Department of Operativ Control in the Fuel and Energy Complex in accordance with the Methodology for the comprehensive determination of the indicators of electric power facilities technical and economic state, including indicators of physical deterioration and energy efficiency of power grid facilities, approved by the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated December 19, 2016 g. No. 1401.
The annual results of monitoring the indicators of electric power facilities technical and economic state, including the final information on these indicators calculations, are published on the official website of the Ministry of Energy of Russia.
