In the hydropower industry of Uzbekistan, it is planned to implement projects worth $ 1.4 billion

In 2021, it is planned to implement 16 investment projects in the hydropower industry of Uzbekistan for $ 1.42 billion. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the presentation of projects on Monday, Gazeta.uz reports, citing the press service of the head of state.

In particular, 11 new HPPs with a total installed capacity of 587 MW will be built. The remaining 5 projects provide for the modernization of existing power plants with an increase in their capacity.

The President instructed to re-examine all projects and refine them with an emphasis on quality, the message says.
