KEGOS JSC summed up the implementation results of a set of measures to prepare for the autumn-winter period (AWP) 2020-2021.

This year, KEGOS JSC has begun a repair campaign to prepare power grid facilities for the passage of the AWP in early spring, with the onset of a warm period. First of all, repair work was carried out on overhead power lines and electrical substations of the company. In total, 95 power lines and 56 units of substation equipment have been repaired, as well as  buildings, structures and special equipment. In addition, an emergency stock of materials, spare parts, structures was replenished, and a sufficient stock of transformer oil and fuel and lubricants was created.

All this is necessary to ensure the reliable operation of the National Power Grid of Kazakhstan and the successful passage of the autumn-winter maximum load.

It is important to note that the schedule of repair and maintenance work was drawn up taking into account the epidemiological situation in the country. KEGOS JSC successfully overcame these difficulties and issued an Act of the Company's readiness to pass the AWP.
