Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin instructed to prepare proposals to simplify the connection and registration of microgeneration sources. It was done according to the website of the Russian government on Friday, where a list of resolutions was published following the results of the VI All-Russian Urban Forum "Environment for Life - 2022" and issues of socio-economic development of the Kirovskaya and Tambov regions.
“Submit proposals to simplify the procedure for connecting sources of electricity microgeneration, including providing the possibility of processing documents through a single portal of public services,” one of the paragraphs of the document says, TASS reports.
This work should be carried out by the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia and report on the results to the government, if necessary, preparing a draft document. The deadline for execution is September 30, 2022.
A microgeneration source is a facility for the production of electricity owned by a consumer connected to power grids at a voltage level of up to 1 kV and used to produce electricity for its own domestic or industrial needs with the possibility to supply surplus electricity to the grid and sell it to an energy sales company. Maximum microgeneration capacity accepted by grid is not higher than 15 kW.
