Russia's revenues from electricity exports in 2021 rose to $1.33 billion

Russia's revenues from electricity exports in 2021 amounted to $1.33 billion, which is 2.7 times more than in 2020, according to the information of the Federal Customs Service of Russia.

At the same time, in December 2021, export earnings increased 3.75 times in annual terms - up to $232.3 million.

In 2021, Russia imported electricity in the amount of $25.4 million, which is 12.4% more than in 2020, and in December - by $1.4 million (+26.3% in annual terms).
