Accident rate in the distribution grid complex of the Russian Federation during the autumn-winter period (AWP) 2021-2022 increased by 58% compared to the 2020-2021 AWP, TASS reports with reference to the materials of the Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Yevgeny Grabchak for the All-Russian meeting on the results of the 2021-2022 heating season.

The number of accidents in the distribution network amounted to 40.88 thousand. At the same time, in networks of 110 kV and above, the number of emergency situations during the reporting period decreased by 8%, and the accident rate at generation facilities decreased by 4%.

As for the regions of the Russian Federation, the largest increase in the number of accidents was recorded in the Arkhangelsk region, where this indicator increased by 5.7 times. In the Vladimir region, the number of accidents increased by 5.3 times, in Dagestan - by four times. At the same time, in the Altai Territory, the indicator decreased by 1.4 times, in Chechnya - by 1.7 times, and in the Primorsky Territory - by 1.9 times.

According to the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, the accident rate at network facilities of Russian Railways in the past heating season decreased by 21%, Oboronenergo - by 32%, and RusHydro - by 15%. At the same time, the indicator for Rosseti increased by 48%.
