The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission approved the lists of standards for the technical regulation of the Customs Union "On the safety of low-voltage equipment" in an updated version.

Updating the lists of standards is aimed at creating conditions for the application of current versions of standards when confirming product compliance with the requirements of the technical regulation "On the safety of low-voltage equipment" and a systematic transition from national standards to interstate ones as they are developed and put into effect.

The lists of standards containing requirements include 167 interstate and 12 national standards. The lists of standards containing test methods include 174 interstate standards and 9 national standards.

A transitional period has been established for certain interstate and national standards.

In order to adapt to the application of the updated lists of standards, as well as accreditation of conformity assessment bodies, the Decision of the Board of the Commission will enter into force after 180 calendar days from the date of its official publication.
