The Government of the Russian Federation updated the regulation on certification in the field of industrial safety, on the safety of hydraulic structures, safety in the field of electric power industry

From September 1, 2023, the updated regulation on certification in the field of industrial safety, on the safety of hydraulic structures, safety in the electric power industry is applied, follows from the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers dated January 13, 2023 No. 13 published on the Official Internet Portal of Legal Information.

The regulation establishes the procedure for conducting certification, including categories of employees undergoing certification, cases of extraordinary certification and categories of employees undergoing certification in certification commissions formed by federal executive authorities.

It is envisaged that applications for attestation submitted before the date of entry into force of this resolution are subject to consideration in accordance with the regulatory legal acts that were in force prior to its entry into force. The provisions regarding the submission of applications, information and documents in the form of an electronic document through a single portal of public services, sending notifications and assigning numbers to attestation records shall be applied from March 1, 2024.

The new regulation is valid until September 1, 2029.
