The Government of the Russian Federation approved a new procedure for classifying electric grid facilities as part of the Unified Energy System

The Government of the Russian Federation has approved a new procedure for classifying power grid facilities as part of the unified national (all-Russian) power grid and maintaining a register of such facilities. The corresponding resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers was published on the Legal Information Official Internet Portal.

The document comes into force on March 1 of the current year.

The changes are designed to optimize the procedure for classifying electric grid facilities as part of the UNEG.
