The growth of electricity consumption in Russia since the beginning of the year amounted to 1.3%, said Russian Energy Minister Nikolai Shulginov.

“Since the beginning of the year, the growth in electricity consumption in Russia has amounted to 1.3%,” the minister said.

In February, Shulginov reported that the Ministry of Energy expects the upward trend in energy consumption in the country to continue in 2023. In 2022, total energy consumption in Russia increased by 1.5%.
