The Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation expects an increase in electricity consumption in 2022 by 2%, to 1.112 trillion kWh
According to the estimates of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, in 2022, electricity consumption in Russia will increase by about 2% and amount to 1,112 billion kWh.
“The forecast for consumption in the UPS of Russia for 2022 is about 2% or 1112 billion kWh, in Russia - about 2% or 1129 billion kWh with an increase of about 2% compared to 2021,” the Energy Ministry said.
Recall, according to SO UPS, electricity consumption in Russia as a whole in 2021 amounted to 1,107.1 billion kWh, which is 5.4% more than in 2020.
At the same time, electricity generation showed an increase of 6.2% and amounted to 1,131.2 billion kWh.
