The total investment in the energy industry of Russia in 2023 will amount to about 1.3 trillion rubles, Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Yevgeny Grabchak said in an interview with TASS.

“If you look at it as a whole, this is about 1.1-1.2 trillion rubles (in 2022), in 2023 we expect 1.3 trillion rubles. Moreover, the total investment in companies with state participation amounted to 850-870 billion rubles,” he said.

The Deputy Head of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation added that all the outlined plans are being kept. Thus, the construction of energy infrastructure continues to ensure the expansion of the Eastern range of Russian Railways, the connection of large consumers of the Far East and Siberia, as well as the modernization of the distribution grid complex.

“Moreover, significant investments were directed to the restoration of the infrastructure of new regions of the Russian Federation, and this year the volume of investments will be increased,” Grabchak added.

At the same time, the volume of investment programs in physical terms at the end of 2022 was not lower than in previous years.
