The Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic proposes to approve the methodology for setting tariffs for electricity generated using renewable energy sources.
On September 1, 2023, the agency submitted the draft resolution for public discussion.
The main purpose of the draft Methodology is to establish and revise tariffs for electricity supplied by power plants that generate electricity using renewable energy sources.
The project provides for the establishment of a unified approach to the calculation of tariffs for electricity using renewable energy sources.
At the same time, the project proposes to annually index the tariff in case of a change in the exchange rate of foreign currency to the national currency.
