The RF Ministry of Energy begins active energy complexes operation experiment

The RF Ministry of Justice registered the Ministry’s of Energy order, which will allow to give a start for operation experiment of a new type of micro-energy systems - active energy complexes (AEC).

In the course of the experiment, new organizational, legal, technological and economic principles of functioning of small generation facilities within the Unified Energy System of Russia will be formed and tested.

“We consider the experiment to create active energy complexes as one of the stages in the formation of new models of digital energy markets. Based on the results of the experiment, in 2023 a decision will be made on the advisability to consolidate the new principles on a permanent basis "”, said Elena Medvedeva, Deputy Director of the Department of Operational Control in the Fuel and Energy Complex.
