Working meeting of the Executive Committee of the CIS Electric Power Council on the development of "end-to-end" criteria for the CIS member states energy systems digitalization level

The development of "end-to-end" criteria for the CIS member states energy systems digitalization level  was the topic of the working meeting of the Executive Committee of the CIS Electric Power Council, which was held with the participation of Alexei Konev, Director for Innovative Development of Fuel and Energy Complex Industries, Russian Energy Agency of the Ministry of Energy of Russia.

The meeting participants reviewed the industry experience and practice of energy companies in assessing the level of digital maturity, as well as the existing groundwork in terms of the formation of a unified terminology in the field of digital transformation.

“The results of the discussion lead to the conclusion that it is expedient to develop a standard for a digital transformation management system, the idea of which was proposed by the Russian Energy Agency of the Ministry of Energy of Russia back in 2019. Such a document, prepared in accordance with the international practice of developing standards for management systems, will form a unified methodological basis for the implementation of not fragmented, but systematic work on digital transformation,” commented Alexey Konev on the results of the meeting.
